AMVET Thrift Store

 To follow, AMVETS Thrift Store in Long Beach, California. AMVETS is a veteran service nonprofit organization that funds service programs for all veterans. The funds to support these programs derives from selling donated goods at AMVET Thrift Store locations. Donations can be scheduled for pickup by contacting AMVET or dropping off at designated locations, which can be found on their website.

     

     

The store holds many items from clothing, shoes, jewelry, toys, books, furniture, and décor. It may take a bit of digging and time. This is where one’s trash becomes another treasure while feeling good about helping out a community that have served and protected. Make sure to make your way down to any of the locations available in California like San Diego, Fresno, and in our own back yard of Long Beach open 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm.

     

It may take quite a bit of searching and digging, but it is possible to come across some good finds. For me, the jean jacket that was probably a pair of jeans was a creative find. The prices are a bit towards the higher end, but it is rewarding to know it’s for a good foundation.
