Affordable Treasures

 Welcome back as we move towards Bellflower. Conveniently, off the 91 is a gem. Affordable Treasures is a Christian non-profit organization in services for 30 years. Proceeds support Valley Christian Schools, Christian Home, and Bethany Christian Services. Treasures can be found or dropped off while supporting the local community. Michael, a staff member who’s been at Affordable Treasures for 2 years explained that donations they go through a quality inspection. Drop offs are Monday through Friday 9AM to 1PM. Be aware that the store is closed on Sundays.

This space is nicely laid out to easily begin the search. Towards the front is the Women’s sections categorized by garment type, followed by the children’s section, and the men’s section.

       

This week’s trip, I managed to find a few items. A few being a 100% silk blouse, a nice pair of jeans, and a reversible belt that says made in Italy, which might be leather. For all this, the total came out to less than $15. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that they have affordable prices.
