ROSE BOWL FLEA MARKET - PASADENA

One of the most popular flea markets in Southern California is the Rose Bowl Flea Market. This is held the second Sunday of every month, at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA. This particular flea market is so awesome because it's huge, you get to experience over 2,500 vendors full of vintage clothing, antiques, unique art, and so much more. Lots of people come down to shop because it's only once a month, the market attracts 20,000 buyers. There's also lots of food and drinks sprinkled throughout the market. When it comes to admission it's not too expensive, there's VIP admission which is 5:00 AM to 8:45 AM - starting at $20 per person. This is a great option if you want to beat the traffic and get your shopping done early. The regular admission is 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - starting at $12 per person. I always use this admission cause I don't like waking up that early, but I always try to get there right at 9:00 AM because its get packed. There is parking for free and parking you need to buy thats closer distance to stadium. Also children under twelve is free! You pay for your ticket online, then they scan a QR code when you enter. When you shop lots of vendors take card and Apple Pay, but it's also good to brings some cash as well.

This trip was a beautiful Sunday morning, the sun was shining and we were ready to shop! We usually just do a big circle and stop by every vendor that we like. A lot of vendors have piles of clothes, so it's more tedious to find items you like but those are always the cheap ones. What I like about this flea market is its very diverse with vendors. Some vendors are pricey while other vendors are super affordable. People can browse and see what they really want.

After we did our big circle in the stadium, they have other lots with more vendors. You walk over this little bridge and it's basically like another whole flea market. Some lots are more art and furniture items. Which is really nice if you want some affordable unique items for your household. I didn't go by there but it always looks super great. We went to an area with more clothing and accessories.

My experience at this flea market is always great and this trip wasn't any different. I saw so many amazing vendors with great vintage items. The jewelry vendors always amaze me because it's such beautiful accessories. The clothing didn't disappoint either, with great tees and coats. I would say this flea market has a lot of vendors that sell graphic vintage tees, which they sell very expensive.

I came out with some great finds, I would say the favorite thing I purchased was this vintage "friends" purse. I freaked out when I saw this purse because I'm the biggest friends fan ever. I paid $30 for this item, I didn't think that was too bad but I just had this buy this, so incredible!

Some other awesome items I picked up was this perfect vintage leather jacket, I loved how it was oversized and in great condition. This was $10, such a steal! Also got some jewelry, I saw this vendor that does permanent jewelry which I thought was super cool. I was looking for belly chain and I found it, I decided to not do permanent so she put on a clapse. We stopped by another vendor that had a bunch of jewelry, I got a pair of clip on earrings and a necklace.

Overall, I love the Rose Bowl Flea Market so much! I definitely recommend stopping by if you live near the area. It's a great experience and so much fun. Just remember second Sunday of every month! Stay tuned next week for more thrifting places.
