In store this week is Long Beach Antique Market: Chic,
Cheap, Unique, Vintage – The Flea Market with Style. This market is only held on
the third Sunday of every month rain or shine. There is free parking, but make
your way to the box office for a general admission ticket for $10 from 6:30a.m.
to 2:00p.m. or $15 for an early bird admission 5:30a.m. to 6:30a.m. Unfortunately,
pets will have to sit this one out.
Being early, there will be parking in the same parking lot where the flea
market is held and find the ticket box to purchase a ticket to access the market.
The important thing is to bring cash as some vendors may not accept card
payment. There are a few ATM machines close to the ticket box just in case.
Here you can find just about anything from plants, home décor, toys, collectibles, vintage clothing and accessories. As I made my way through and caught my eye was a big pencil and a pink hand chair. I wouldn’t know where to place that, but I sure did appreciate these pieces.
As I made my way through, I couldn’t help browsing through some of the jewelry. While skimming through some racks this Versace Marilyn Manroe dress caught my eye. All I could do was admire it as it was not my size, but there is something for everyone. So, make sure to check the Long Beach Antique Market website for the next date and let us know what treasures you find and stay tuned as we pinpoint another location that may have your next treasure.
